In the photo, during a joint Silver and Bronze Exploration Journey, I was carrying a participant, to help him get across the lake. Participants were exploring more about Fishing on Lake Victoria and so when they got to Bukome beach they had a chance to fish themselves. After fishing they were given a boat ride to the fish sorting zone. After the fish sorting process participants were to get across from the sorting shore to the main shore on foot across the lake as the locals did. Unfortunately this participant had a height disadvantage and I offered to carry him across on my back so that he felt part of the team. It seemed impossible but we got across. It was an amazing encounter and the beginning of responsible volunteering.
