The Award joins the call for greater global recognition of - and investment into - non-formal education and learning
In December 2019 the Award joined more than 70 international organisations, youth organisations and UN entities from across the non-formal education and learning sector, to discuss the growing importance of non-formal education and learning.
The inaugural World Non-Formal Education Forum saw the development of an ambitious declaration, which laid the foundations for the future of non-formal education, highlighting the increasingly important role that it plays in helping to enable young people to not only meet the challenges of, but also thrive in an unpredictable and rapidly changing world.
The Award joins the collective call for the right to non-formal education, increased recognition, more innovative learning methods, increased investment, and stronger partnerships.
