Award Nominees Appointed to the World Bank's Solutions for Youth Employment (S4YE), Youth Advisory Group
We are delighted to have recently joined The World Bank‘s Solutions for Youth Employment (S4YE) steering committee as their first and only Non-Formal Education and Learning (NFEL) partner.
As part of this new partnership, we’re excited to see the four nominees put forward by the Foundation all appointed as Youth Advisory Group (YAG) members: Award Emerging Leader Representative Rose Poka, tech enthusiast Emerald Akhaumere, Climate Activist and Youth Advocate Blessing Bisong and Synthetic Engineer Michaela Samanta (Michaela S.).
The YAG initiative will centre youth voices in developing policies that aim to tackle growing youth unemployment. Chosen from over 140 nominations from around the world, Michaela, Rose, Blessing and Emerald are four of the 120 + young leaders who will contribute to the youth employment agenda, gain exposure in an international network, and participate in decision-making for the coalition.
Our newly appointed members look forward to contributing their expertise to making a real-world impact.
