Deliver the Award as an organisation
Any organisation that works directly with young people can deliver the Award. There are many benefits to offering the Award to young people. By delivering the Award your organisation will:
- Help to develop the lives of young people and their communities;
- Become part of an international network of Award Operators in over 130 countries and territories worldwide; and
- Provide professional development opportunities for your staff.
Our delivery partners
The Award is delivered internationally through two main networks of licensed operators, from large National Award Operators (NAOs) with hundreds of thousands of participants to directly licensed Independent Award Centres (IACs) – typically international schools or youth clubs.
While the Award follows the same framework around world, its strength also comes from the programme’s ability to be adapted to the specific needs or desires of any individual between the ages of 14 – 24.
National Award Operators (NAOs)
In countries where there is a designated NAO, the Award is delivered to participants through Award Centres (typically schools, NGOs or youth clubs) that are licensed and managed by the NAO directly. We, the Foundation, license the NAO to operate the Award in their country.

Independent Award Centres (IACs)
In some countries, the Foundation directly licenses organisations (such as schools, NGOs and youth clubs) to deliver the Award as IACs. IACs are licensed to deliver the Award exclusively to their own students/members.
If no NAO exists in your country, please click here for more information about becoming a licensed IAC. Alternatively, please contact our Operations Team to request an application pack.
