Favourite memory of the Award:
My favorite memory happened in 2021, February when the vehicle that was carrying camping tents and containers of water got stuck in heavy mud and could not get to the farm where the campers where. It was 3 Km away from the camping area and the boys had to go and collect the tents. Barely an hour after they left, it started raining cats and dogs and before we knew it, it was total darkness that one could hardly identify a path. It took more than 3 hours for the boys to return. They returned in pairs, groups of four and individually carrying heavy family camping tents in total darkness in the rain. They got lost, fell in mud paddles. The girls could not help but she'd tears, searched for the 'lost boys', prepared tea for them and helped with deep heat massaging and consoling the young men. I watched in awe at the sight of the sympathy and empathy displayed by the girls and the way they worked as a team through out the night and the following day was simply amazing.

Not at the moment but I certain will be doing so soon.
Tell us the story behind your photo:
The participants had just navigated through a 10 Km journey and we're less than 2 Km from the camping site. Sue to the cloud covering, they began to collect firewood in advance. I am seen in black, posing with wood in my hands too.
