Favourite memory of the Award:
7 Bronze campers sitting on a wall, Incident hiking: a flood, a storm, a fall. The 7 bronze campers learnt about some risks, they had fun went adventuring, me and campers, six.
Age:
15
Biggest challenge from doing the Award:
Pushing the team forwards, being able to help each other and not be ashamed of it, not having to look brave for the team but accepting help, and seeing the difference in between that and defeat.
Country:
France
Have you continued any of your Award activities? If so, what:
I shall be starting my silver next year and plan to take the same three activities and hope to be able to have another fabulous adventure journey with my friends and teammates.
Tell us the story behind your photo:
We combined adventure journey and incident hike, each of us planning a lesson along the way for the others, based on a possible risk. This was the flood practice where we learnt what signals a flood, what to do, and the dangers of it. It ended as a very nice picture, of 7 happy campers sitting on a wall! My favourite picture of our adventures together!
