Award Level:
Favourite memory of the Award:
Going on Adventurous Journey’s with my friends and navigating my way around new environments. The peace and quiet that came with that was quite surreal.
Biggest challenge from doing the Award:
Doing the Residential Project was a huge challenge. Not in the sense of actually completing it, but working with coordinators at a camp for kids to ensure the best outcomes for them and that they were well looked after.
Have you continued any of your Award activities? If so, what:
I have continued to volunteer at my local Scout group, I continue to volunteer/run at my local ParkRun, all of which are really rewarding experiences.
Tell us the story behind your photo:
The photo is of my friend walking out of a cave in Kosciuszko National Park, after we went exploring in it. I really like the contrast of a body walking out into the light, like the start of a new journey.
