Award Level:
Favourite memory of the Award:
A friend had muscle cramp in her leg during the adventureous journey, so we had to carry her bags and support her for the whole trip this day. It was hard but i also realised the importance of teamwork.
Biggest challenge from doing the Award:
Here Mauritius, being a multi-cultural country, the DOFE team always consists of people from different cultures and religions. So the most challenging thing is always learning to work together and make sure our differences are complimentary to each other.
Have you continued any of your Award activities? If so, what:

Tell us the story behind your photo:
Since childhood i had acrophobia...i could barely climb on a ladder or stand near a high balcony. But on this particular day during the adventureous journey, after going through a sleepless night because of bad weather and overcoming countless other challenges along the way, i really felt fearless. So i stood on a wall about 1 Meter from the cliff. I felt my feet shake at first but the ecouragement of my friends gave me the strength to not quit. I just closed my eyes and took in a breathe of fresh air. I relaxed and enjoyed the moment. For the first time in my life- i can say i overcame acrophobia.
