Favourite memory of the Award:
I was with my friends on the hike and we were sliding down a rock. So basically we were coming back down the trail and at one point you. had to slide down a rock and sure in the moment I felt like I was going to die but then I got to see a beautiful view that I still remember a year later.

Biggest challenge from doing the Award:
I did the bronze Award so my first award during Covid and so meeting all the requirements and the trips were hard to do. My duke of Ed trip was with 4 girls I barely knew and so when it came time for the award they all came to my house to camp in my backyard and we were supposed to hike in some trails near my house. I kid you not when I say that the first hour was so awkward. The joke is that we are now best friends that are inseparable. Anyways we found a way to break the ice and we even had a lot of fun. But the hardest part out of all of that was making things happen when Covid was unsure and weird.

Have you continued any of your Award activities? If so, what:
Actually I've continued the sport with is for me swimming. Altought I was a competitive swimmer before the award so for me it was a given to continue this activity.
Tell us the story behind your photo:
I was with my friends on a hike in a nice mountain area when I came across a small looking waterfall. Obviously I hand my phone to my friend and i'm like take a photo of me when I get to the waterfall. I start running towards it because I loved the idea of being sprayed with water and just when I stop to get ready for the photo I almost trip and fall. This photo catches me right in the moment were I am desperately fighting for my life. Moments afterwards tough the crisis was averted.
