Award Level:
Favourite memory of the Award:
My favourite memory of the award was navigation ,navigation being a crucial role during the expedition calls for competence in navigation skills so as to the route to be followed next check point ,the bearing ,estimated time, nature of terrain among other details which make it enjoyable
Biggest challenge from doing the Award:
My biggest challenge is the less availability of experts to guide on some activities like skills for example a skill like woodwork which calls for expertise which is found rarely in my area of residence
Have you continued any of your Award activities? If so, what:
Yes I did walking as a physical recreation in my bronze and silver level since it is a way of reducing my carbon footprint hence saving the enviroment
Tell us the story behind your photo:
During our bronze, silver and gold qualifying journey I had a chance to offer first aid in Tanzania where there was a casualty who had been involved in a motorbike accident this was with the help of my group members who I had earlier equipped with first aid skills prior to the expedition
