When I was a volunteer, I actively participated in social activities conducted by the Award. One of them was IAYP Days Out. We invited people with disabilities to visit the Zoo in Jakarta. This activity aimed to increase their confidence to show they to can do what other people do. At this event, we also awarded the first disabled person in our cohort, the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award.
