Tell us the story behind your photo:
WHY I VOLUNTEER: I volunteer because there is a great level of self fulfilment in impacting a life. The level of impact created may feel small but it sometimes spreads and creates a web of happy people.I am a product of someone’s volunteerism and good will. In so being, I have learnt to give back and have fun while at it. I understand that no one has everything, no one has nothing and none of us exists alone.I volunteer to improve the society; put a smile on one’s face and give hope. Volunteerism helps me become a better leader, to serve, to appreciate the abilities and the potential of others and to appreciate our differences.I have learnt to express myself more openly and to listen keenly, with intent. I am in volunteering for the long-haul!
