Favourite memory of the Award:
My favourite memory of the award was probably spending time with everyone at the camp, not just my friends. Prior to the camp, I had known most of the people attending, but it was still great to hangout and talk to one another. 'Big Booty' was one of the very popular games that we played, and was introduced to us by one of the teachers. The game was a great hit, and we played it the entire bus ride back to school. The best part about playing this game, i think, was probably the fact that no one would get left out, and that everyone seemed to enjoy it, and sometimes be super competitive about it, which was extremely fun.

15
Biggest challenge from doing the Award:
The biggest challenge from doing the award was probably having to mve around and cook dinner in the dark during camp, as I was so used to being at home with lights on and being able to see clearly, whereas at camp, we only had light coming from our headlamps and the moon.

Australia

Tell us the story behind your photo:
This photo is one of my favourites from my experience at camp. Part of my qualifying journey was to hike 7km across the beach, though at the end of the hike, we discovered that we had walked 8km as one of the roads had been closed, and our teachers had kept it a secret from us until the very end of the hike. I'm still very grateful for this hike, as tiring as it was, as the scenery was so beautiful, and the hike provided us with time to catch up and talk to each other. We also played several games along the way, such as I-spy, to pass the time as we walked, and also had our cameras ready for any photo-worthy moments. As we were walking, there were many opportunities to take photos of ourselves but also the natural scenery around us, and this photo depicts one of my friends hiking in front of me while gazing at her surroundings.
