Award Level:
Favourite memory of the Award:
Sitting there and eating my Nutella wrap on the river bed. Talking to my group and trying to get us motivated to keep going. And when we got there it as the best felling to know that we were done and we could relax.
Biggest challenge from doing the Award:
Pushing me mentally to explore off the track even though i was suffering physically. I went out of my comfort zone to get to know everyone. I thought it was going to be hard not being with my friends, but it was the best thing that i could have done for myself.
Have you continued any of your Award activities? If so, what:
Yes, i continue doing all of my service, skills and my physical components. I still love all of the activities i do and pride myself in them. Driving, dancing and teaching assistant are all that i have continued.
Tell us the story behind your photo:
This photo is taken at Jay Creek on the larapinta trail. After a long day of hiking, we got there in time to appreciate the sunset and the amazing constellations above us. This was taken in the middle of cooking dinner. We all were in awe of the scenery and loved it.
