This photo was taken on top of Mt Stirling. We cross country hiked to set up camp and then to the summit. The sun was shining down, the air was fresh and I felt free! I was totally unaware of what was happening in the outside world. A day after this photo was taken, we went back into our sixth state lockdown. In Victoria, Australia, we were the most locked down state in the world with the strictest curfew, radius, and stay at home orders in the world. This photo is a highlight of the past two years in my life as it shows that no matter what, we can always find a reason to smile! Ironically, we were hiking terrain that HRH Prince Charles would have traversed during his time studying in Australia at Timbertop!
