“The Journey” 144kms hike from Grabouw to Gaansbaai. No cell phones, no electronics - just the outdoors, friends and acquaintances who became friends. This is the last night and we made it to the end, exhausted, excited and thankful for the last few days. And for going home and for being alive! (I think my parents are just as excited). We sat on the beach with renewed energy and appreciation for our friendships and country. What seemed like a daunting journey in the start became an adventure of a lifetime.
