Award Level:
Gold
Favourite memory of the Award:
I have a couple of favorites. Our qualifying journey is the most memorable one of them all. While on the hike, my award buddy and I made this game, spur of the moment, which kept us going on the trek. We would play a random song and whoever guessed it first would win. I remember being better at the game than them and we would laugh at the songs we could not guess for the life of us, even though they were our most frequently played ones.
Age:
17
Biggest challenge from doing the Award:
The biggest challenge was to be consistent with the activities and balance my senior year of high school. I have challenged myself and am proud of not giving up.
Country:
Nepal
Have you continued any of your Award activities? If so, what:
I have been continuing my physical activity to keep fit and I do help with my community service. Not as often as before, but I try to do whatever I can. I still paint and love doing so.
Tell us the story behind your photo:
I have been obsessed with the beauty of the mountains. When I first started painting, my mountains would look like pyramids. Here I am painting a landscape of Nepal. The mountains look like mountains after all the scrapped paintings. There are still a few grassland details yet to be painted, but looking at how much my skills have changed, I feel pleased.
