Award Level:
Bronze
Favourite memory of the Award:
It was raining really heavily and everyone's tents were absolutely flooding, some other teams tents actually flew away. Our bread got soaked and one of my teammates tried to scoop water out of her tent with a spoon. There was thunder and lighting, my tent buddy slapped me awake since she couldn't manage to get our tent door closed and rain was pouring in but I just ignored her and went back to sleep until she slapped me again. I would like to add that at the end of the night only two tents were still standing including mine.
Age:
14
Biggest challenge from doing the Award:
THE TOILETS WERE HORRENDOUS. There were a bunch of ants eating a worm in the toilet. It was super unhygienic and dark, I decided to skip my shower and changed while my teammates held up a towel. I even did a wild wee the toilets were that disgusting.
Country:
Malaysia
Have you continued any of your Award activities? If so, what:
I have continued my skill aspect which is playing the clarinet.
Tell us the story behind your photo:
This was just after a really long day, everyone was tired and sick of the toilets and having to cook and just really fed up with each other but then we finally got to relax and eat marshmallows and pour Hershey's chocolate down each others throats and everyone who had been previously arguing just forgave each other. We had a really great time bonding so we decided to take a picture with the beautiful sunset in Langkawi.
