Award Level:

Favourite memory of the Award:
My favorite memory of the Award was during my Bronze journey. Day one of our hike was finished and it was night time. My group had the biggest tent and everyone squeezed into our tent we played a card game called Uno. This memory is my favorite because after a long exhausting day I felt so happy to be surrounded by my friends, who at the time felt like my family and had fun.

Have you continued any of your Award activities? If so, what:
One award activity that I’ve continued is voluntary service. In pursuit of obtaining this Award, I have grown to enjoy being of assistance to anyone that needs it. Voluntary service is something that I will continuously commit myself to do. I’ve gained 70+ community service hours in activities such as mangrove planting, canal clean-up, conservation projects, and weekly clean ups at my local church.
Tell us the story behind your photo:
In this photo, my group and I were halfway done with our Silver hike. We were extremely exhausted and stopped for one of our many rest breaks. I’m the person with the hat over their face trying to take a quick nap. The reason I submitted this particular photo is that it’s a reminder to me that nothing is ever too hard. In this photo, I thought it was the end of the world, but as I’m typing this I can smile and see that I survived.
