The Award Launches Exciting ‘Network Solutions’ Grant to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals

We are thrilled to announce an exciting new funding opportunity with the EU Youth Empowerment Fund, delivered through Global Youth Mobilization (GYM).

The ‘Network Solutions’ callout invites applications from partners in the Award’s vast Association to support and empower young people or groups to implement projects addressing challenges in their local communities, aligned with one or more of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), with a focus on tackling climate change and supporting underrepresented groups.

Partners are encouraged to apply for grants ranging between 5 and 30, 000 Euros from eligible countries designated by the EU Youth Empowerment Fund.

The fund comes just two years on from the successful launch of Global Youth Mobilization’s ‘National Projects’ (2020-2022), which saw 13 projects within our Award family selected to receive GYM funding.

Global Youth Mobilization (GYM) is an initiative of the Big Six, an alliance of the leading international youth-serving organisations, established in 2020. From 2020-2022 it invested more than US$ 5 million to support 640 youth-led projects which engaged more than 600,000 young people and reached over 3.6 million people in communities across more than 125 countries.

If you’re a National Award Operator (NAO), Independent Award Centre (IAC) or Operating Partner (OP), you can now apply for funding to empower the next generation to make a difference in their communities. Applications are now open and will close on Wednesday 23 October 2024.
