Parents: Your young people and their Award

Young people today have a lot to contend with – and very little certainty about what they will need to be ready to adapt to in the future. At a time of such challenge and change, it’s vitally important that they have the skills they need to take on whatever the world may send their way. Skills like adaptability, resilience, problem solving and communication. Skills which help them to understand themselves, others and how to lead.

Not all learning happens in the classroom. By participating in the Award, 14 – 24 year olds can learn new skills, increase their mental and physical fitness, support their communities and be ready to thrive in the future.
