Anita Jacoby is a leading advocate and mentor for women in leadership and the media. She is the former CEO of ITV Studios Australia and one of the country’s most distinguished television producers.
With over 35 years’ experience in the media, broadcasting, communications and regulatory sectors, Anita currently Chairs the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s Advisory Council, is an Associate Member of the Australian Communications & Media Authority and a Board member of Chief Executive Women, Documentary Australia and Women in Media. She was previously a Director of headspace, Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation for 12-25-year-olds.
A Silver Award holder, Anita has worked extensively with the Duke of Edinburgh International Award (Australia) for many years. She Chairs the Award’s Brand Marketing & Communications Committee and her contribution was recognised in 2020 with the Gold Distinguished Service Medal.
Supporting a range of charities and organisations across youth mental health, the environment, culture and the arts, Anita established an annual scholarship program for young journalists through Australia’s prestigious Walkley Foundation. In 2019, she was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to the broadcast and print media, and to community mental health groups.
