Favourite memory of the Award:
One of my favourite memory was the time we went for our first residential project whereby we went to build a classroom in a certain school which some of the students used to study outside due to lack of classrooms. During our construction breaks we used to interact with the kids, playing with them games that they were familiar with as we taught them our childhood games. I still remember how happy the school and the community at large were happy. The school was very live and active for that whole week. We had promised to come back again for another residential project due to their good hospitality and indeed we kept our promise. The kids were so happy to see us again after a whole year away. They even brought us gifts, some wanted even to Sacrifice their own lunch money just to buy atleast biscuit for us. They were really sad seeing us leaving on the last day. Some were even crying but we really had no option but to leave.

Biggest challenge from doing the Award:
One of the challenge that I have ever faced is seeing young people quiting the award without them realising its benefits or some parents denying their children a chance to do or continue with the award saying that it is not in line with what their children are studying for only to realise later its benefits when it is already late.

Kenya

Tell us the story behind your photo:
This was the day I was bored at home and decided to walk, which was my silver physical recreation category, and go to places around within our constituency that I had never visited before. That is when a friend of mine suggested for me waterfall around our constituency though almost 7 km away from home. The fall is seasonal which only brings it's magical moments during the rainy season. I posted this photo and most of my friends were shocked when they realised such a beautiful fall can be found several kilometres from home.
