Award Level:
Favourite memory of the Award:
My favourite memory was being able to bike from my home all the way to Downtown Toronto, travelling over 60 kms by biking. It was a great trip where my biking capacity was built over time by doing this activity over successive weeks.
Biggest challenge from doing the Award:
The greatest challenge of the Award is the commitment that is required to maintain the activity over a prolonged period of time without weeks . This also happens to be the greatest quality of the award where you get to appreciate something over a long experience.
Have you continued any of your Award activities? If so, what:
Biking is something I continue to do in my free time and explore local region. The Award showed me how valuable this activity is in my life.
Tell us the story behind your photo:
This photo was taken on one of the trails I went on during my weekly biking trip for my Duke of Edinburgh's physical activity requirement. I really like the colours and the sense of wonder that comes from the trail cutting through the electrical transformer unit.
